Di Palma Donato & Figli srl was established in the 1980s, on the basis of the commitment and experience that comes from a long-established tradition in the fruit and vegetable sector. One of our strengths is a new department covering an area of 18,000 sq m. The processing area, equipped with all the latest state of the art equipment, covers 6,000 sq m, while 2,000 sq m are used for storage in controlled atmospheres. There are also two rapid-chill cells, the company’s pride and joy. The company can store approximately 6000 ql of produce, and during the busiest periods can efficiently handle up to 200 tonnes of produce per day. Cherries, eating grapes, citrus fruits and vegetables are processed in a hi-tech, professional environment. The high volumes handled make Di Palma Donato & Figli one of the largest export centres in the south-east of Bari.
The company guarantees high quality products, by selling and processing only fruit and vegetables with the GLOBALG.A.P. certification. Our produce undergoes stringent chemical and microbiological tests to confirm its health-giving properties.
The company is also UNI EN ISO 9001:2008 and UNI EN ISO 14001:2004 certified.
